How we calculated it

Methodology

The AC-Ready City Index compares ten European cities using the share of sampled stays offering air conditioning and pool access. Air conditioning carries 70% of the score and pool access carries 30%, reflecting the more direct role AC plays in cooling a room.

Each input is normalized to the sample leader before the weighted result is converted to a ten-point scale. The summer high is the June through August average daily maximum. It is shown as travel context only and does not affect the score. Figures are an editorial index snapshot and property facilities should always be confirmed before booking.
